Classic Sapin-Sapin
Ingredients
1 box Sarap Pinoy Sapin-Sapin (460g)
8” Round Pan
1 1/2 Cups of Warm Water
Cooking Oil
Plastic Liner (cling wrap)
Preparation
Step 1
Step 1 Half fill steamer with water and bring to boil.
Step 2
Step 2 Grease 8” round pan with oil and line with plastic liner (cling wrap).
Step 3
Step 3 In a bowl, dissolve 2 packs of Coconut Powder completely in 1 1/2 cups of warm water. (2 packs Coconut Powder + 1 1/2 cup warm water = Coconut Mixture). Divide the Coconut Mixture into 3 parts.
Step 4
Step 4 Dissolve each pack of Powder Mix into one part Coconut Mixture, Yellow + 1 part of Coconut Mixture, Ube + 1 part of Coconut Mixture and White + 1 part Coconut Mixture.
Step 5
Step 5 Pour first the Ube Mixture into prepared pan and steam for 5 minutes or until mixture has totally set, pour in the white mixture and steam for 5 minutes or until mixture has totally set, pour in the yellow mixture and steam for 8 minutes more.
Step 6
Step 6 Cool completely before releasing from the pan.Refrigerate before serving. Optional: Top with roasted coconut before serving.
